The surprise of all surprises for the year: a visit from Mimi and G'Dad! Please excuse the fact that you have to work from the bottom up to enjoy the order of the photos but it's how they loaded here.

Pictures are so much better than words, so I'll leave you to explore them at your leisure and I'll add more later. To say the least though, the girls were thrilled, I had a blast, and I believe Mom and Dad and John enjoyed themselves too. We wish the weather would have been nicer, but we were able to show them our smal town anyway and enjoyed the visit. We're getting better at hosting and are now planning for a visit from Aunt B!!! I can't wait for that visit and for any others by Mawmaw, Pawpaw, TiTi, Auntie El, and Lil Keith!

G'Dad learned that he may try to beat an illogical thinker at Connect Four, but he will loose almost every single time. His giggles and cackles were hilarious!

The day I was weepy watching Mimi and G'Dad get in on the home education fun. It's such a blessing to see how grandbabies and grandparents interact.

The day they arrived was Memorial Day and you can't properly celebrate that w/o a grilled burger! It was great having our own Soldier visit on a perfect day!
